Our contribution
Turnkey design, construction and commissioning
The scope covers engineering and structural calculations, removal of the previous installation, civil works, lifeline system, electrical installation, site management and commissioning.
The project
An industry with daytime activity uses most of its electricity during the same hours the sun is working, and that is what makes self-consumption cost-effective. The site had two usable surfaces with different logics: the roofs of the buildings and the car park.
The installation splits 579.82 kWp between the two: 399.62 kWp on the roofs, prioritising south-facing slopes for higher yield, and 180.2 kWp on carports built in the car park, which also shade the vehicles. In total, 1,094 modules of 530 W on a flush-mounted aluminium structure and four 125 kW three-phase inverters.
The contract was turnkey: structural calculations for the site’s wind and snow loads, removal of the previous installation, civil works, lifeline system, conduits and panels, and site management. Before commissioning, the voltages of all DC strings, the earthing of every element and the measurements of all electrical panels were verified.
