Strainer nozzles: how to choose the slot size
The slot size must be smaller than the finest grain in the layer it supports, so that the medium does not pass into the underdrain, and compatible with the backwash flow rate.
How often each component needs replacing
Cartridges: when the differential pressure reaches the cartridge’s change-out value. Granular media: when filtrate quality falls or the bed analysis indicates it. Strainer nozzles: at each bed inspection, if there is media carry-over.

The selection can include different materials, micron ratings, lengths, diameters and configurations depending on the process.
How is a cartridge’s micron rating selected?
It depends on the contaminant, the target quality, the solids load, the flow rate and the process stage.
Do you supply nozzles and strainers for existing filters?
Yes. We need the dimensions, connection, slot, material and system characteristics.
Can you help identify a spare part with no reference?
Yes. Photographs, dimensions, equipment, function and working conditions help us find a suitable option.
How is chemical compatibility managed?
We review the fluid, concentration, temperature, pressure and component material.
Do you hold stock?
Availability depends on the reference. We can also agree safety stock for critical components.
