Our contribution
Engineering, installation, permitting and grant applications
The scope covers engineering and validation, roof and pergola mounting structures, electrical installation in compliance with the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT), permitting and inspection by the regional industry authority, and documentation for grants.
The project
In an urban home, the available surface is rarely a single one. Here there was a roof, but also an outdoor area where a pergola could add modules and shade the living space at the same time. Using both made it possible to reach 13.75 kWp without overloading the roof.
The installation comprises 25 modules of 550 W across both surfaces, with a 10 kW three-phase inverter and one optimiser per panel. Combining different orientations in one installation only works well if each module can perform on its own: that is exactly what optimisers are for.
The installation generates 20,098 kWh a year and avoids 5.43 tonnes of CO₂. KEIKEN handled the engineering, the electrical installation in compliance with the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT), permitting and grant applications.
