The scope of this reference is the supply of filtration media. The flow rate stated describes the plant in which they are installed.
The project
The Altamira WTP reference relates to a water treatment plant in Altamira, Tamaulipas. KEIKEN’s historical record gives a feed flow of 145,000 m³/day.
KEIKEN supplied zeolite as filtration medium. In a WTP, the bed configuration must be matched to the nature of the raw water, the solids load, the filtration rate and the planned backwash regime.
KEIKEN’s scope is limited to the supply of the filtration medium; the design, construction and operation of the plant are not part of it.
