Our contribution
Engineering, installation, permitting and grant applications
The scope covers engineering and validation, roof mounting structure, electrical installation in compliance with the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT), permitting and inspection by the regional industry authority, and documentation for grants.
The project
The community uses 94,753 kWh a year for its shared services. Before sizing anything, the starting point was its actual bills: the aim is not the largest installation that fits on the roof, but the one that generates what the building can consume.
The installation comprises 52 modules on a roof structure, with a 25 kW three-phase inverter and panel-level power optimisers. The roof has chimneys and other volumes that cast shade at different times, which is precisely the situation in which individual optimisation pays for itself.
The result is 42,201 kWh a year, covering close to 45% of common consumption and avoiding 11.39 tonnes of CO₂. KEIKEN handled permitting, the inspection by the regional industry authority and the grant applications.
