Renewable energy is energy obtained from natural sources considered inexhaustible, either because of their immense quantity or because they are regenerated naturally. In Spain there is still some way to go before renewable sources can compete with oil, natural gas or nuclear power. Even so, renewable energy must be promoted and invested in, as it drastically reduces polluting emissions and is clean and inexhaustible.
