The project
KEIKEN has a zeolite supply reference for a desalination facility in La Paz, Baja California Sur. The historical record gives the project a capacity of 5,000 m³/day.
Zeolite was used as a filtration medium in the pretreatment. Thanks to its mineral structure and retention properties, it can form part of beds designed to reduce solids and improve water quality ahead of sensitive process stages.
KEIKEN’s scope is limited to the supply of the filtration medium; the design, construction and operation of the plant are not part of it.
