Our contribution
Complete rebuild of the unit in our own workshop
The scope covers the initial inspection, replacement of equipment and instrumentation, control upgrade and functional testing before return.
The project
An ultrafiltration unit housed in a 20 ft shipping container had been in service for years and its condition was affecting operation: a deteriorated floor, chemical tanks and bunds at the end of their service life, outdated instrumentation and a dosing cabinet that did not meet current safety criteria.
We moved the container to our facilities to work on it in the workshop. We inventoried, component by component, what could be recovered and what had to be replaced, and defined the scope from that inventory: floor waterproofing, cleaning of the existing tanks, a new submerged ultrafiltration tank and a chemical dosing cabinet with segregated compartments, local extraction and ventilation.
The dosing pumps, filtrate and drain pumps, and the pH, flow and turbidity instrumentation were replaced. The pipework is corrosion-resistant plastic compatible with seawater, with a removable CIP recirculation section between the filtrate line and the feed line. Before return, the unit undergoes I/O verification, an automation upgrade, dry tests, pressure and leak tests and a functional test with water.
Compact Plants line
We manufacture, assemble and refurbish water treatment equipment for engineering firms and manufacturers that need a workshop with its own technical judgement.
