Because they are so different, energy efficiency measures must be tailored to each case, but there are <strong>two major sources of energy consumption common to all: lighting and air conditioning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Lighting:<\/strong> its efficiency should be analysed and, where luminaires use old technology, a switch to LED should be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Air conditioning:<\/strong> the most efficient equipment should be assessed and installed. In older equipment, reactive power consumption, which increases energy costs, must be controlled. If the air conditioning equipment cannot be replaced, a good solution is to install capacitor banks to avoid consuming this unused reactive power, which significantly increases energy costs.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these two key measures, installing an <strong>ENERTEQ energy saver<\/strong> should be considered.
